The event ‘It Will Be More Beautiful Than You Could Ever Imagine: Susan O’Malley and Friends’ will take place Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 6 p.m. on Floor 1 of the Phyllis Wattis Theater. The program will celebrate the release of O’Malley’s career-spanning monograph, ‘It Will Be More Beautiful Than You Could Ever Imagine.’

The event will hear from friends and collaborators who knew O’Malley best, shaped her work with her, and were shaped by her in turn.
Christina Amini, identified as the monograph’s author and editor, is also steward of the Susan O’Malley Estate. Ellen O’Malley Kato is identified as Susan O’Malley’s sister and collaborator. Jessica Martin and Asherah Weiss are identified as artists and creators of Peptoc.
