UMLAUF will hold an opening reception for David Everett and 'Suspended' on Wednesday, November 4, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The reception introduces two new exhibitions by Austin-based artists in UMLAUF’s galleries.
David Everett’s exhibition brings the forests, wetlands, and wildlife of his native Texas to life through sculpture, bas-relief carving, woodcuts, and drawings.
CCYD Studio’s 'Suspended: Dandelion Satellite III' blends light, technology, and organic form into an immersive work designed for viewers to slow down.
The two presentations explore relationships with the natural world and outer space from different angles. The exhibition opening begins at 6 p.m.
