The High Museum of Art will present 'Los Porfiados (The Stubborns),' an interactive installation by Chilean creative studio gt2P, from June 5 to November 29, 2026, in Atlanta. According to the museum’s exhibition page, the work is inspired by the classic Chilean roly-poly toy known as a 'mono porfiado' and takes the form of a landscape of fourteen inflatable, limber sculptures, some reaching as high as seventeen feet.
The installation is designed to be activated by visitors. The museum says the sculptures will come to life through human interaction and play, with their pliable surfaces responding to touch and movement. In the High’s Carroll Slater Sifly Piazza, that collective activity is meant to transform the space through shared physical engagement rather than passive viewing. gt2P is based in Santiago, Chile, and the museum identifies it as a public art, architecture, and avant-garde design studio working across architecture, art, and design.
