The Benaki Museum is participating in an international anniversary tribute marking 100 years since ‘Cahiers d’Art’ began publication in 1926.
The exhibition focuses on the global, diachronic and intercultural character of ‘Cahiers d’Art’, presenting, for the first time on this scale, objects from the heterogeneous collections of the Benaki Museum in direct relation to their reproduction, circulation and interpretation in the journal’s pages.
Those pages will be animated in the exhibition space through a multimedia installation curated by artist Natalia Papadopoulou. The exhibition is curated by Polyna Kosmadaki and Vassiliki Daniil.
The opening is scheduled for 13 October 2026 at 8pm, with the exhibition running from 14 October 2026 through 24 January 2027 at the Museum of Greek Culture.
