Yamatane Museum of Art has issued the first catalogue volume commemorating the 60th anniversary of its opening.
The publication selects 81 notable works from the institution’s collection. It includes reproductions and explanations for the full selection.
The selection spans Edo-period painting, ukiyo-e and modern Japanese painting.
The listed artists include Uemura Shoen, Hayami Gyoshu, Takeuchi Seiho and Yokoyama Taikan. Ito Jakuchu, Utagawa Hiroshige, Katsushika Hokusai, Sakai Hoitsu, Suzuki Harunobu and Toshusai Sharaku are also listed.
The 174-page catalogue was issued by Yamatane Museum of Art in 2026.
