‘After the Island: Caribbean Canadian Ceramics’ will open with an artist panel on October 9. The panel will feature PJ Anderson, Eddy Firmin, Manuel Mathieu and Sharon Norwood.
The exhibition was announced jointly by the Gardiner Museum and The Band Gallery. Its scope will include ceramics, sculpture, installation, painting, scent and an interactive video game.
The project is presented as a multidisciplinary exhibition rather than a presentation limited to vessels or other traditionally defined ceramic forms.
