Palazzo delle Arti Beltrani in Trani will present 'Teatro a Corte Gran Varietà' on 25 July 2026 at 9 pm, the fourth and final out-of-competition performance in the fifth edition of 'Teatro a Corte – Premio Giovanni Macchia'. The production is by Compagnia dei Teatranti, based in Bisceglie and Trani, and is scheduled at the venue listed in the event notice as Palazzo delle Arti Beltrani.
The programme is described as a variety-format performance that brings together music, theatre, cabaret, songs, sketches, parodies, macchiette and poetry. The event text says the title 'Gran Varietà' would be reductive if treated as a simple variety show, and instead frames it as a sequence of acts and attractions drawn from different genres. According to the announcement, the audience will hear songs taken from some of the best-known musicals and musical comedies, alongside comic sketches, theatrical pieces, early-20th-century macchiette and unusual poems.
The description also positions the evening as a broad popular mix, intended to appeal to both younger and older audiences. The language of the notice emphasises a journey through musical comedy and entertainment drawn from theatre, television and cinema. No cast list is provided in the source material, and the announcement does not identify specific songs or excerpts beyond the general reference to celebrated musicals and musical comedies.
Palazzo delle Arti Beltrani presents itself as a multifunctional cultural centre in Trani and as the home of the Pinacoteca 'Ivo Scaringi', according to its website. The venue’s event listing places 'Teatro a Corte Gran Varietà' within its 2026 artistic season and notes doors open at 8:30 pm. The same listing gives ticket prices for the evening, with numbered main seating and unnumbered general admission offered at different rates, including partner-member discounts.
The ticketing information states that tickets may be purchased at the box office from Tuesday to Sunday between 4 pm and 9 pm, and online through Vivaticket. The event page also says that tickets can be bought using Carta docente, Carta della Cultura Giovani and del Merito. Information listed by the venue includes a telephone number, WhatsApp contact and email address for enquiries.
The performance is one of two back-to-back summer events highlighted on the venue’s programme, following 'Teatro a Corte Gran Varietà' with 'InCanto di Donne' on 26 July 2026 as part of 'Jazz a Corte'. For 'Teatro a Corte Gran Varietà', the verified schedule remains fixed to Saturday 25 July 2026 at Palazzo delle Arti Beltrani in Trani.
