Riccione is set to host Capo Plaza on Saturday evening, July 25, at Piazzale Roma, with the city’s municipal announcement framing the show as one of the headline dates in this summer’s 'Riccione Music City' program. The concert is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and the commune says a special reception and safety plan has been put in place for the event.
The notice presents the concert as part of a season that has made the Adriatic resort a recurring destination for live music audiences. Capo Plaza, identified in the statement as a Salerno-born artist and one of the leading figures of Italy’s new urban generation, is bringing one of the most anticipated stops on his 'Summer Tour' to the city. The municipality also links the date to its broader summer cultural calendar, positioning it as a key moment within 'Riccione Music City'.
The same release gives brief context on the artist’s recent work. It points to the success of his debut album '20' and later releases 'Ferite' and 'Hustle Mixtape Vol. 2', saying these records helped establish a solid and recognizable career that has reached an international level. The city also notes his new EP '4U', produced by AVA, describing it as a more intimate and reflective phase in his musical development.
Alongside the concert announcement, Riccione set out practical information for those attending. Gates to the arena at Piazzale Roma and the security checkpoints will open at 6:00 p.m. The municipality encourages visitors arriving in the city that same day to spend time on the beaches and in the town center before heading to the venue, in order to stagger arrivals and avoid queues close to opening time.
For audience members arriving by train or by the Metromare service, the venue is described as walkable via the underpass of viale Ceccarini toward the sea. Drivers are advised to use parking areas located on the inland side of the railway, all said to be about a 10-minute walk from Piazzale Roma: the multi-storey station car park on viale XIX Ottobre, Salvatori parking on viale dei Mille, Volta parking on viale Cortemaggiore, Piazzale Vittime delle Foibe, the former Fornace area on viale Einaudi, and Piazza Unità.
The city also said food and drink points will operate inside the structure and that strict security checks will be in place at the entrances. To speed up screening, the notice bans a long list of items from the arena, including cans, metal objects, glass bottles or cups, aerosol sprays of any kind, bulky objects such as umbrellas, flagpoles and selfie sticks, tools, pyrotechnic or explosive materials, and large bags including suitcases, motorcycle helmets and oversized backpacks.
The concert also opens a packed run of dates in 'Riccione Music City'. The municipal program lists additional events through September, including early-morning beach performances and concerts by artists such as Grupo Compay Segundo de Buena Vista Social Club, Serena Brancale, Gloria Campaner and Thea Crudi, Eiffel 65, Zero Assoluto, Clara, Noemi, Riccardo Cocciante, Pooh and Gianni Morandi.
