Venice’s Civic Museums are extending summer opening hours through 26 September 2026, with Ca' Rezzonico among the sites offering later evening access on Fridays and Saturdays. According to the museum network’s visitor information page, Ca' Rezzonico — the Museo del Settecento Veneziano — will remain open until 8 pm during the seasonal timetable, alongside a broader MUVE programme of prolonged summer hours across several venues.
The update applies from Friday 1 May to Saturday 26 September 2026 and covers multiple museums in the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia circuit. The visitor page lists Palazzo Ducale and Museo Correr as open until 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, while Ca' Pesaro – Galleria Internazionale d’Arte Moderna, Museo del Vetro, Museo di Palazzo Mocenigo, Museo Fortuny, Museo di Storia Naturale di Venezia and Ca' Rezzonico will stay open until 8 pm. Museo del Merletto and Casa di Carlo Goldoni are scheduled to remain open until 5 pm, and MUVEC – Casa delle Contemporaneità until 8 pm for the same period.
Ca' Rezzonico is one of the best-known museums in the MUVE network and is identified on the site as the Museo del Settecento Veneziano. The summer extension does not alter the museum’s standard daytime timetable, which the same page lists as 10 am to 6 pm, with Tuesday closure in the regular season. Instead, the change adds a wider late-opening window on the two busiest days of the week, giving visitors a longer evening opportunity to see the collections during the peak travel season.
The MUVE site also notes that exclusive visits outside regular opening hours are available across several museum locations, including Ca' Rezzonico. These visits are described as private or special arrangements for groups, accompanied by licensed tourist guides, with booking and tariff conditions set out on the museum website.
