A Flemish panel has arrived in the museum’s collection after being recovered during Operation Altarpiece, an operation against illicit art trafficking.
Titled ‘Virgin with the Child, Saint Anne and Saint Joseph,’ the panel is dated circa 1490–1520 and belongs to the Flemish school of painting.
