The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art will open to the public in Los Angeles on September 22, 2026.
Located at One Lucas Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90037, the museum describes itself as a place exploring how narrative art shapes the world through beliefs, values, imagination and conversation.
The museum’s campus brings together sculptural architecture by Ma Yansong and an evolving landscape by Mia Lehrer. It stands on a site that was previously an asphalt lot.
Public hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays; 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays; and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. The museum will be closed on Tuesdays, as well as Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Last entry is 45 minutes before closing.
