Cynthia Corbett Gallery will present ‘Masters of Reinvention’ at Stand 18 of British Art Fair 2026, held at Saatchi Gallery in London from 24 to 27 September.
The presentation brings together nine artists whose works reimagine the languages and traditions of art history for the present day. Spanning painting, photography, ceramics and textiles, ‘Masters of Reinvention’ moves between Pop Art and Modernism, Surrealism and landscape, porcelain, weaving and trompe l’oeil.
Participating artists are Andy Burgess, Deborah Azzopardi, Margo Selby, Cristina Schek, Alastair Gordon, Elaine Woo MacGregor, Jo Holdsworth, Jemma Gowland and Carolyn Tripp.
Cristina Schek’s ‘Fern Girl’ will be presented at the fair in a gallery-scale format. The work is also due to be unveiled at the W4th Plinth in Chiswick on 19 September. The gallery will additionally show Andy Burgess’s latest architectural works, including a new interpretation of Richard Neutra’s Kaufmann House.
British Art Fair opens with a Collectors’ Preview on 24 September, from 12pm to 9pm.
