Galerie Thomas Schulte is taking part in the 21st edition of Contemporary Istanbul, showing works by eleven artists at Booth B106. The fair runs from 23 to 27 September 2026 at Tersane Istanbul, on Taşkızak Tersanesi Caddesi in Beyoğlu.
The gallery’s announced roster is Marina Adams, Alice Aycock, Angela de la Cruz, Abraham Cruzvillegas, Richard Deacon, Alfredo Jaar, Idris Khan, José Montealegre, Katharina Sieverding, Juan Uslé and Jonas Weichsel — a group that runs across painting, sculpture, installation and photography. The gallery calls them “signature works” but gives no titles, dates, media or dimensions, names no theme or curatorial premise for the booth, and says nothing about how the works will be arranged.
Per the fair’s own visitor information, 23 September is the VIP preview: invitation holders from 11:00 to 20:00 and ticket holders from 15:00. General visiting follows from 24 to 26 September, 11:00 to 20:00, and on 27 September from 11:00 to 19:00. Students with valid ID are admitted free on 24 and 25 September between 17:00 and 20:00, and tickets can be bought at the door by card.
Contemporary Istanbul was founded in 2006 and has been held at Tersane Istanbul with participants from across the world. The fair had not yet published its list of participating galleries at the time of writing, so the booth number and roster rest on the gallery’s own announcement.
